Frosh Bios

Coach Waples is returning to head up the freshmen program for the second year in a row.. Chad graduated from Montana State University-Billings with a broadfield degree in PE/Health education. His biggest accomplishments in life started when he married his wife Janell and continued with the birth of their three sons Carson (7), Hudson (5), and Bronson (1). Coach Waples has coached high school baseball in Oregon for the past 13 years at all three levels. He has eight years of experience as a varsity head coach, with three different programs. He was the head coach at Wilsonville High School for two years, Madison High School for two years, and Gresham High School for four years. In eight seasons as a head coach, Coach Waples has lead his teams to two conference championships (2003 WHS and 2008 GHS) and six second place finishes, qualifying for the state playoffs each year. Coach Waples is excited about the opportunity to coach baseball at Clackamas and is looking forward to a fun year.
